Accommodation:
We shall be staying a the Heinrich Lubke Haus, which is ideally situated only 5 minutes from the Mohne Dam. Double rooms are en-suite and the single rooms have facilities just two steps outside the rooms. If you like an early morning drink we suggest you take a travel kettle etc and adaptor as there are no tea making facilities in the rooms.
Transfer to/from Europe is provided by P & O Ferries from Hull:
Operate two vessels, the largest ferry boats in the world, the Pride of Rotterdam and Pride of Hull, which are used between Hull and Rotterdam, with first rate facilities. You will be amazed what’s on offer for your complete entertainment and comfort! Your accommodation has been reserved in full en-suite, sea view cabins, accommodating two persons. Single passengers will be expected to share outward and return journeys on the ferry with a fellow single Dams Trip passenger - every effort is made to place persons with like interests in the same cabin.
Evening Historic Talks: After dinner in the evening we have a private gathering in the Europa Room, next to the bar, where we share drinks and nibbles and renowned 617 historian and Tour Director Jim Shortland presents some lectures for those who are interested. The lectures will be decided by tour members on the night (talks include the Dams and Tirpitz raids).
Jim is also co-author of 'Dambusters in Focus'
Optional Extras include:
- Flight over the Mohne and Sorpe Dams in light aircraft (suject to weather conditions) - extra 60 euros
- Guided Tour inside the Mohne Dam - extra 3 euros

What is not included:
Optional Extra’s - Flight over Dams (approx 60 euros), guided tour inside Mohne Dam (approx 3 euros), poppy crosses which can be laid by tour members if they wish at various locations we visit - £1 each. Costs of personal travel insurance and any personal spending, drinks at the bar, etc.
